Saavi Services: Ability Builds Confidence

Build Confidence. Reclaim Independence.

SAAVI Services for the Blind offers free weekly “Ability Builds Confidence” (ABC) classes designed to empower adults who are blind or low vision. These hands-on training sessions are held every Tuesday from 10 AM to Noon in both Phoenix and Tucson.

Whether you’re newly adjusting to vision loss or ready to expand your skills, ABC classes provide a supportive environment to grow your confidence and independence. You’ll learn essential daily living skills—such as mobility, assistive technology, cooking, organization, and self-advocacy.

Classes are led by experienced instructors and members of the blind and low vision community. Their lived experience brings real-world insight and motivation to every session. You’ll leave each class better equipped to navigate your world and take action.

“It’s not what you can see that matters—it’s what you can do.”
