Join the NFB Florida State Convention 2025
The NFB Florida State Convention 2025 is the largest annual gathering of blind individuals in Florida. Hosted by the National Federation of the Blind of Florida, this event will take place October 3–5 at the Hilton Altamonte Springs. It brings together members, families, professionals, and advocates for training, networking, and community building. Because education and collaboration are essential, this statewide convention strengthens advocacy and builds momentum for accessibility across Florida.
Workshops, Sessions, and Networking
The program features general sessions, breakout workshops, and governance meetings. Attendees will learn about technology, accessibility, and advocacy initiatives while also shaping the future of the organization through resolutions and elections. Moreover, our Eye Spy Foundation founder Nick Mendler will lead a breakout session about EyeSpy.org and how we are building a better digital future for the blind and low-vision community. His presentation will highlight innovation, inclusion, and practical tools for everyday empowerment.

Doors open Friday afternoon, and the convention runs through Sunday evening, with departures on Monday, October 6. In addition to workshops, attendees can enjoy the Rookie Round-Up, Dolla’ Auction, and formal banquet.
Registration and Exhibits
Registration is now open at the official convention page. The Exhibit Hall will showcase assistive technology, community programs, and resources for independence. In addition, exhibitors can register to present products and services designed for the blind and low-vision community, making the hall a must-see feature of the weekend.
