The Jacksonville Vision Connection 2025, hosted by the Foundation Fighting Blindness, will be held on Sunday, September 28 at North Florida Sales. This Jacksonville vision event brings together individuals, families, and advocates to learn about advances in vision research while connecting with the blind and low-vision community across Northeast Florida.

Why Attend Jacksonville Vision Connection

Vision loss impacts education, work, and independence. Because information leads to empowerment, this program shares the latest updates on retinal diseases, clinical trials, genetic testing, and low-vision rehabilitation. Attendees will hear from experts and take part in interactive Q&A sessions. Moreover, this event helps launch the VisionWalk season and builds awareness for vision health across Jacksonville.

Speakers, Schedule, and Activities

Doors open at 12:30 PM with networking and light refreshments. Presentations begin at 1:00 PM and continue until 3:00 PM. Featured speakers include Bob Schrepfer of The Magnification Company, demonstrating magnification devices and assistive technologies, as well as representatives from the Eye Spy Foundation, sharing digital resources and accessibility tools. In addition, attendees can explore AI-driven apps, text-to-speech tools, and community programs that promote independence and inclusion.
