Eye Spy Social Friendsgiving 2025

Our second Eye Spy Social brings the Jacksonville blind and low vision community together for a potluck-style Friendsgiving. Hosted in partnership with Ellie Mental Health Ponte Vedra, the event takes place Thursday, November 13, from 7–9 PM. Because connection builds community, Friendsgiving celebrates gratitude, food, and fun in a welcoming space.

Building on the Success of Mocktails & Mingle

Our first gathering, Eye Spy Social: Mocktails & Mingle, was a great success. Guests laughed, shared stories, and discovered new connections. Moreover, it highlighted the need for consistent, inclusive spaces where people feel supported. Friendsgiving continues this program by offering another evening of shared meals, mocktails, and interactive activities that spark conversation and friendship.

What to Expect

The evening features alcohol-free mocktails, seasonal dishes, and light bites. Guests are welcome to bring a side or dessert, but it is not required. In addition, the program includes inclusive games, fun activities, and a special speaker from the Jacksonville blind and low vision community. With Ellie Mental Health as our partner, the event also emphasizes emotional wellness and the importance of building supportive networks.
