The Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) D.C. Metro Chapter is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding treatments and cures for blinding retinal diseases. The chapter serves the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and Northern Virginia. Through fundraising events, education and outreach efforts, and advocacy, the FFB D.C. Metro Chapter works to raise awareness and support for those affected by retinal diseases such as retinitis pigmentosa, macular degeneration, and Stargardt disease. The chapter also connects families and individuals affected by these diseases with resources and support networks to help them navigate the challenges of living with vision loss.
